Great Caching Lists

Geocaching Lists are a great way to keep track of all the amazing geocaches within our community and there are so many different types of lists you can have. Some common types of lists people create are:

  • Challenge Caches – either ones you are working on or ones you are ready to collect
  • DNFs – those nemisis caches we need to go back and claim a smily on
  • A caching series – like those often published by Wiser Than Owls for Mega’s
  • Cache list by type – sometimes if you are in hunt of a particular type of cache, lists are a great way of tracking where they are
  • FTF – Save a list of your own FTF caches to remember them by

To help get you started, below are a selection of lists you may like to save to your profile. These lists are maintained by Geocaching Victoria from time to time as time permits. We do have some search routines that help us to process updates reasonably promptly, but some lists (like Pole Caches) are not easy to search for and we look for help from the community to let us know about new ones. You are welcome to email us with updates to lists.maintenance@geocachingvictoria.com.au. Generally, we will remove archived caches from these lists, except for Mega Lists and Awards Lists where we include all caches for historical reference.
