Many of us get connected to geocaching through family, some through friends, others hear of it through social media. But no matter how you come to the game, it doesn’t take long before you get to know the ‘cachers’. You offically aren’t a muggle any more!

We often start caching in our local area and get familiar with certain Cache Owner (CO) hides, we start to see the same geocachers log ‘found it’ posts and occasionally run into others as crazy as us to chase that new First to Find (FTF).

But one thing is certain – the longer we stay at the game, the more likely we are to meet other geocachers and likeminded people from far and wide. It’s not uncommon for fast friendships to be formed or relationships that last a life time. Let’s celebrate the beauty and connection of our community, in all of its colours.
