Geocaching Victoria is a not-for-profit incorporated body that seeks to promote the pastime of geocaching with a predominant focus on the state of Victoria. It is governed by a committee of enthusiastic geocachers who volunteer their time and energy for the advancement of geocaching in Victoria and surrounds. Collectively we aim to inspire great geocaching experiences, promote knowledge sharing and development, foster and grow the geocaching community, and help to showcase the best Victorian skills and experiences to geocachers both from within and outside of the state.
Objectives
Geocaching Victoria is passionate about creating experiences and opportunities for our community to engage and grow and to achieve this we aim to:

Host and support events and experiences in order to encourage connection, celebration and fun experiences that embrace the diversity of our community. These include, but are not limited to, celebrations of community, opportunities to connect, CITOs, Mega events, GPS Adventure Maze experiences, GeoTours and other experiences.

Encourage existing and welcome newer community members to continue learning about geocaching, embrace their curiosity and provide them with opportunities to share, learn and connect.

Work proactively with relevant councils, government bodies, sponsors and other organisations and stakeholders as required.

Engage in a variety of fundraising activities to support the operational and activity based needs of the organisation.

As a committee, lead by example and act with professionalism and transparency, ensuring good governance and sound financial decision making.
