How to… Import Pocket Queries into Excel

This a bit of a geeky one but who knows why you need this. We don’t judge.

  1. Download PQ from geocaching.com (you will need a premium membership for this)
  2. Open in Notepad (or other text-editor)
  3. Change the tag “<gpx bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla >” to “<gpx>”
  4. Save as .xml
  5. Open Excel
  6. Open file
  7. Choose “Use the XML Source task pane”

  9. Drag’n drop, click refresh and enjoy!
