We have some very exciting information sessions organised for you at The Rutherglen event – from ideas to help you organise your caching day, to placing your first geocache. There is something for everyone!

Activities
- Opening Ceremony
- Geocaching Tour
- Adventure Labs – There will be a few Adventure Labs available over the Mega weekend. Some will be available for the entire weekend and some will only be available on the Saturday.
- GPS Adventure Maze – If you haven’t attended a GPS Adventure Maze before, this is a definite MUST. (For those who have attended a maze in the past, make sure to check out the Rutherglen edition, it promises to be AMAZEing.)
- Pathtag trading – For those lovers of pathtags, there will be organized pathtag trading sessions on the Friday and the Sunday.
- Puzzle Solving sessions – Want to work together with some others on those harder puzzles? Come along to this activity with your hardest puzzles and maybe a hive mind can crack those codes!
- Registration & logbook – Available on the Saturday only, the registration and logbook can be filled out by all. The free registration packs will only be available to those who have registered their “Will Attend” online, so make sure you log it!
- Vendors – We’ve got some great vendors lined up to help you will all your geocaching merch needs.
- Meet the Reviewers – Ever wanted to quiz a reviewer about a topic? Well here’s your chance. A team of reviewers will be present to take your questions. Please note, that reviewers are people too and they are volunteering their time. This session will be mediated.
- Closing Ceremony
Games
- Car Trail – Similar to “Show and Shine” events held by day1976 before. Places are limited, so register your details here.
- FTF Explosion – oooh, that sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Stay tuned for more details!
- The Great Easter Egg Hunt – Who doesn’t love chocolate? Register here to join in The Great Easter Egg Hunt… you will need your GPS for this one!
- Raffles – Traditionally we raffle off the right to call yourself FTF for each MEGA as well as a lovely hamper donated by Maccamob. Proceeds from both raffles will go to local charities.
- Other games – Check inside your free registration packs for more ways to win prizes. Remember, these registration packs are only available to those who log a “Will Attend”, so make sure you’re registered.
