Geocaching Victoria and Oxfam Trailwalker

The Melbourne Oxfam Trailwalker is on again this year and once again, Geocaching Victoria is entering some teams in to raise much needed funds for this very worthwhile cause.  There are three teams being entered this year made up of 12 geocaching walkers who will each walk the 100 kilometres from Jells Park to Wesburn.

fern oxfam yellow TEXT-01Once again Geocaching Victoria have designed a very special coin that we are selling to raise funds for these guys doing the hard yards.  The coin depicts our little mascot Fern, on the Trailwalker trail, it is very unique and comes in hardened enamel complete with tracking code.  It offers great value for money at $25.  But guess what?  This year, Geocaching Victoria will again foot the entire production cost of these coins, so $25 spent on these coins goes straight to the Oxfam charity.  How awesome is that?

This coin will only be available for sale between now and the 25th of March (the final date of the Oxfam Trailwalker) and is for pre-purchase and available for pick up at the Parkville Event 2018.  If you are unable to come to the Parkville Event 2018 and still want to purchase this coin and support our teams in the Trailwalker, then postage is available too.  To purchase this wonderful looking coin, you can follow this link to our webstore.

buy-now-buttonGeocaching Victoria would like to thank the walkers who are already busily training for this event and have been doing so for a few weeks now as well as the many others who have generously volunteered their time to act as support crews.  You guys are amazing and we look forward to your results in March.
