Selfies with Signal at the All Nations Australia Day BBQ.

Geocaching Victoria has a HUGE BBQ planned for Australia Day at All Nations Park in Northcote.   The Geocaching Event, GC7F50C, will run from midday until 2pm on Australia Day, the 26th of January.  Originally it was going to be just sausages, onions and sauce on the menu, but we have now expanded that to include some delicious marinated pork and some scrumptious marinated chicken, as well as an expanded choice of sausages, including garlic and herb beef sausages, lamb sausages and some Texan chilli sausages if your brave.  There will be a selections of breads, sauces and some salads too! There are even some vegetarian options if you are so inclined.

SignalOf course the Australia Souvenir is available from HQ for anyone who attends, but also, for an extra bonus at this event only, Signal the Frog is making his way all the way from the USA especially for this event.  If you have ever dreamed of getting a selfie with Signal the Frog, this is your chance!  There will of course also be the usual geocoins and pathtags available as prizes on the day too.

So if you want to catch up with old friends and new and kick start your Australia Day celebrations, head on down to All Nations Park in Northcote at midday, grab yourself a feed, say “Hello” to Signal and enjoy yourself.
